JAMES HAGAN : John

James began his career at the Perth Playhouse in 1975. After spending several years touring Britain and Europe with the acclaimed Australian theatre company Triad Stage Alliance, he worked with the English speaking theatres of Frankfurt and Florence. He returned to Australia in 1985 and since then has worked consistantly in theatre, film and radio. His many theatre credits include As You Like It, Serious Money, Sweeney Todd, Our Country's Good and The Recruiting Officer for Hole in the Wall Theatre; Twelfth Night for Black Swan; Miss Julie for Sydney Theatre Company; The Taming Of The Shrew and Macbeth for The Bell Shakespeare Company in 1994; Lenin and Edmond at Belvoir Street; Hamlet and Pygmalion for Parramatta Theatre Company and for the past six years has been involved in Shakespeare by the Sea playing, among many other roles, King Lear and Shylock. His television credits include GP, Stark, Backburner and Artful Dodger and the films Wind, Mary Mackillop and Intransit. James continues to teach speech and drama to actors, announcers and business people and has worked extensively for ABC Radio recording plays, scientific programmes and poetry. James has just completed a season touring The Taming Of The Shrew with the Bell Shakespeare touring company.



MELANIE HOLT : Carol

Melanie Holt recently played the lead role in the Australian premiere of Rebecca Gilman's The Glory of Living. She has also played the lead role in two independent feature films, 6000 Miles from Hollywood and Eloise, as well as numerous short films and corporate videos. Other stage credits include Hamlet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Shallow End for the New Theatre and Roundabout Theatre.
