SAM ATWELL : Steve

Sam Atwell graduated from QUT in 1999 where his theatre credits include Blackrock, Much Ado About Nothing, The Jungle, Angels in America, A Handful of Stars and Cosi. In 1992 Sam performed Richard III with the Bell Shakespeare Company. Sam has also had ongoing guest roles in both All Saints and Home and Away. His film credits include Swimming Upstream, Terror on the Rails, City Loop, Jetset and the short films Satan’s Jar and Fusion. Sam is currently producing and directing Savage/Love for his own theatre company, Actorcorp.



KERRI GLASSCOCK : Carol

Kerri has been working as an actor in film, television and theatre in Australia for the past eight years. Her credits include Two Girls and A Show About Nothing, Heartbreak High, Breakers, Above the Law and Home and Away. She won Best Supporting Actress and Best Junior Actor at the Stage West One Act Play Festival. Kerri has studied at ATYP and ACTT.



MELANIE HOLT : Lisa

Melanie Holt has played the lead role in two independent feature films, 6000 Miles from Hollywood and Eloise, as well as numerous short films and corporate videos. On stage she has appeared for the New Theatre and Roundabout Theatre in Hamlet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Shallow End. Melanie will be appearing in David Mamet’s Oleanna at the TAP Gallery in October.

ANDREW JOHNSTON : Burrows / Policeman 1 / Guard

Since graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1998, Andrew has appeared in The Local Stigmatic for the Bristol New Vic, Juno and the Paycock for the Sydney Theatre Company Directory, A Pint of Pinter at the Stables Theatre, Dogs Barking at the Old Fitzroy and Richard III for the Sutherland Shire Council’s Shakespeare in the Park.



KENDAL JONES : Jeanette / Angie / Transcriber

After graduating from the London and International School of Acting, Kendal appeared in numerous productions in London including The Orchestra, The Pauper Millionaires, Playboy of the Western World and A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Globe Theatre. In Australia, Kendal has appeared in films such as Monkey’s Mask, Contaki Tour and Song of Jane. Her television credits include Changi, All Saints and Life Support.

ASHLEY LYONS : Clint

Ashley graduated from QUT Academy of Arts in 1999. Since graduating he has appeared in Third World Blues (La Boite and City Theatre), Cosi, which toured internationally as part of the Olympic Arts Festival's "Reaching The World Program", The Little Cherry Orchard (Company B Belvoir), Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra (Bell Shakespeare). Ashley's film and television credits include South Pacific, A Sense of Direction and All Saints. When Ashley grows up he would like to be Humphrey B Bear.



DAMIAN MONK : Carl (understudy)

Damian Monk most recently appeared as the war veteran, Ron, in the new Australian play Blood and Bone at the Stables. Damian’s screen credits include Two Hands, Babe II, Oscar & Lucinda, All Saints, Water Rats and Blue Murder.



JOHN McNEILL : Carl

John McNeill’s recent professional stage work includes Fool For Love, Turnstiler, The Carribean Tempest, King Lear, The Merchant Of Venice, Two Mirror, Look Back In Anger and Anything Goes. John is also a playwright and his plays Pikers, Dougies Rules and Jesus Of Marrickville have been produced at Belvoir Downstairs and/or The Stables Theatre. John’s TV credits include Blue Murder, White Collar Blue, McLeod’s Daughters, All Saints, Back Berner, Heartbreak High, Water Rats, Cody and Home And Away. His film credits include Dirty Deeds, Down And Under and Passion.



LEAH PAPPIN : Girl

Leah Pappin graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education in Drama. Leah has performed with La Boite Theatre Company in 1998 and 1999 in X-Stacy, which toured nationally in 1999 and 2000. Leah has performed with Interactive Theatre Australia and toured to Townsville performing Space Out Cowboy. Leah’s university credits include Top Girls, A Midsummer’s Night Dream and As You Like It. Her short films include Trivial Pursuit and Dog Without A Bone. Leah is also working on Savage/Love for Actorcorp.



MICHAEL PIGOTT : Jim / Policeman 2 / Hugh

Michael has worked as an actor, teacher and writer. His acting credits include King Lear for Harlos Theatre and Macbeth for the New Theatre. His writing credits include Waiting for Words, which was produced as part of the VCA Directors season 2001, and Walking on Eggshells which is currently on tour in Eastern Europe with Op-Shop Productions.
